Alabaster male carried himself with pride, ease, and grace as he made his way towards one of his favorite places to be. The beach. A place where you could forget your worries, and just relax on the sand and watch the waves roll in and crash against the shoreline. It was a rather relaxing place to be, especially when you just wanted to be alone, or just needed some time to think. Grass turned to pavement beneath the paws of the male, and then easily turned to wooden planks. But, nothing stopped the male from continuing on his path towards the beach. Long limbs easily carried his muscular physique over different terrains, through different lands. That was until he felt the warm grains of sand beneath his paws. Coming to a halt, he let his light chocolate voids drift lazily across the sand and out towards the ocean. The sound of waves crashing against the shoreline entered his auds, and caused a soft smile to cross his façade. Feathered tail wagged slowly behind his form, before he started moving once more. His paws letting the warmth of the sand soak into his body as he slowly made his way towards the center of the beach.
Once there, he lowered his haunches into a sitting position, and wrapped his feather tail around his rump. His gaze lifted towards the night sky as he waited for the sun to start rising; which only be a matter of minutes from now. ”I think about you every day, Selena,” he murmured to himself as he gazed at a single star; almost as though his beloved ex-mate was that star. A small sigh fell past his slightly parted lips as he thought about how his mate had died, and about the day he had buried her and said his final goodbye to her. Honestly, he never wanted to go through that again. But, he also did not want to be alone for the rest of his life. Shaking his head, he tried to change his thoughts into something happier, but to almost no avail. So, instead, he settled on clearing his mind, and just turned his gaze back towards the ocean. The lapping of the waves sounded almost like music, and the way they rolled up onto the shore and then cascaded back down the sands was almost mesmerizing in a weird sort of way. If another canine were to try to sneak up on him, they would almost think he wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings, but deep down; he was. He just didn’t act like it.
