I think that we should have a seasonal skin or/and a skin for special holidays. Also, we should be able to buy major abilities from the store, like purging, ability to have poison loaded claws and/or teeth, the ability to harness an element (water, electricity, fire, wind, earth, darkness), Thicker Skin, and brittle bones. Just some ideas. I'll list pros and cons for each ability.
Elemental (cons: drains strength and takes at least a couple hours to recover.) ((Recovery time based on element and how long the element is used.)) (pros: advantage in battle. Source of entertainment.)
Water wins over fire
electricity wins over water
water wins over earth
fire wins over earth
electricity wins over fire
wind wins over fire
wind wins over earth
earth wins over electricity
fire wins over darkness
electricity wins over darkness
darkness wins over wind
Water- Can manipulate water for use in battle or just to impress friends or for entertainment. Must be near water source such as a lake, pond, river, ocean, etc. Water from rain puddles or fast moving water (river or creek after a bad rain storm) cannot be manipulated.
Earth- Can manipulate rocks and fallen trees for use in battle or construction. The more advanced you are, the heavier things you can lift. The most advanced users can lift huge rocks and heavy tree limbs. Cannot uproot plants bigger than a tree sapling.
Wind- Can create a wind to buffer an enemy in battle or to cool you off on a hot day. The more advanced you are, the stronger the wind. The most advanced users can create a wind that could knock you off your paws.
Fire- (undecided)
Electricity- Can be used to stun an enemy in battle for a short period of time or for hunting. The more advanced you are, the stronger the shocks. The most advanced users can, if they wish, paralyze a victim for around twenty to thirty seconds. Must be cloudy or overcast. Use in storms is not recommended, for user can electrocute him/herself due to the rain getting on their pelt. Must be dry.
Darkness- Can manipulate shadows to distract the enemy in battle, giving you a chance to strike or for entertainment. Must be overcast or night time.
Purging (cons: drains energy. Takes a hour to recover. May make you sick) (Pros: helps to heal others, maybe even save their life)
Removal of an illness or toxic substance from another being. User must be in physical contact in one way or another with subject. Cannot cleanse someone of The Virus.
Poison in Claws/Teeth (cons: may erode teeth if in teeth or make claws brittle if in claws) (pros: advantage in hunting and battle)
For use in hunting or battle. User's teeth and/or claws are hollow and have tiny holes in the tips. Poison can either paralyze for up to fifteen seconds, cause random muscle spasms in victims for a few minutes, hullucinations from fifteen to twenty minutes, affect depth perception for an hour to half a day. Makes it easier to take down large prey.
Brittle Bones (cons: easy injury. Can't hunt anything bigger than a Game bird or a rabbit) (pros: none)
Radiation has caused the subject's bones to be weak and brittle. Bones break easily. Subject must be careful in the hings that he/she takes part in.
Thicker skin (pros: good protection from an enemy's teeth and claws. Keeps you warm in Winter and Fall months) (cons: makes your reflexes slower. Get hotter in Summer months. May be to swim and run.)
Your skin is thicker than normal. Its like your constantly wearing a suit of armor. Your enemy's teeth and claws will have a hard time penetrating your flesh and you will stay nice and warm in the Fall and Winter months, even if you have short fur. However, all that extra bulk makes you slower than normal and hotter in the Summer months. It might be hard for you to run at fast speeds. Avoid swimming if possible. If you must swim. Make sure that your feet can touch the ground at all times.
